Head of the Department - Computer Science & Engineering

Dr.C.V.P.R.PRASAD
M.C.A, M.Tech, Ph.D, MCSI, MACM
Professor and HOD, CSE - MRECW

He received M.C.A. Degree from University of Madras, Chennai and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna Univeristy in the years 1997 and 2010 respectively. He obtained Ph.D. Degree in the area of Knowledge Engineering Data Mining in the year 2015 from the prestigious Acharya Nagarjuna University. He is the Member of CSI and ACM.

He has a rich Academic and Research Experience of more than 20 years. He was previously associated with KL University where he served as Associate Professor of CSE. He is associating with MRECW from past 5 years.

His current areas of research include Data Mining and Deep Learning. He has presented 10 papers in reputed International conferences and published 19 papers in reputed International Journals. Attended various QIP organized by Anna Univeristy, Acharya Nagarjuna University. He was a Alumni of prestigious university VIT-Vellore.

He has organized several Programs on Research Development and emerging areas in computer technologies for Faculty Development. He has delivered Guest Lectures at ANU and Other institutes in AP. He conducted several Workshops as a Resource Persons. He also acted as a mentor for project developers like Delicis Technologies. He is acting as a Research Supervisor at Acharya Nagarjuna Univeristy. Under his guidance 07 research scholars are pursuing Ph.D. degree. Recently AICTE sanctioned FDP for an amount of Rs. 8,00,000/-.

Dr.C.V.P.R.PRASAD is a reviewer for various journals and evaluator for TCS.
