Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Vision:

To develop competitive Industry Ready Electrical Engineers by establishing traditions, which will foster creativity and growth of excellence to effectively meet the technological requirements.

Mission:

To develop proficiency by imparting application-oriented knowledge and inculcate analytical thinking to solve the technological problems associated with analyzing, designing and testing electrical systems.

About the Department:
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering,Accredited by NBA, with an intake of 30 students. The Dept. has state of the art laboratories with latest softwares like MATLAB, PSPICE and Multisim. We have well qualified faculty members. The Dept. established IEEE & ISTE student chapters and Technical Association “ELECTROPHEEENIX” under which it organizes National level technical Symposium -FUTURE SASTRA & State Level technical symposium- MEDHA every academic year. The Department has Technical E-Magazine- "ELEKTOR". The Dept. organized National conference on “Emerging Trends in Electrical Systems & Engineering” NCETESE, International Conference on “Emerging Trends in Electrical Systems & Engineering”(ICETESE), 2nd International Conference on “Emerging Trends in Electrical Systems & Engineering”(ICETESE), Workshop on “Planning Research Methods & Technologies Leading to Doctoral Level, and one week Faculty development programmes on Application Oriented Teaching Methodologies, Effective Teaching Methodologies for Engineering Education, “Recent Trends in Electrical Engineering”, “Research Issues in Power systems & Power Electronics”, Refresher Course on "MATLAB Applications in Electrical Engineering", FDP on " Effective Teaching Methodologies" and student development programmes like Intra College Technical Symposium SYNCHRO-2K16, Workshop on Design of Electrical Systems using PCB, Two Day Workshop on “Designing of Solar Energy System using PROSOFT” under “Techno Innovation Club” Expert Lectures on "Modern Power Elctronic Drives" and “ Power Electronic Systems for Transportation Systems”, Intra College Conference on “Power System Applications”, workshop on “Recent Trends in Electrical Engineering”, Modeling of “Electrical systems using MATLAB & Simulation”, Circuit Designing and Implementation using PCB, Robo Workshops, Intra College Conference on “Emerging Trends in Electrical & Electronics Engineering”, Technical Symposium like SYNCHRO–2K14, Project based Training Programme on “Design of Electrical Systems using MATLAB”, "Solar & Smart Energy Systems" devaloped by III EEE Students under Research & Development of EEE.

The Department also organizes regular student seminar sessions of two hours per week for I to IV B.Tech student to enhance their all round performance, The dept also offers Value added Certification Courses BEC, Microsoft and CISCO certification through Business English Certification in association with Cambridge University, London, U.K., Microsoft & CISCO Certification through Center for Development of Communication Skills, Microsoft Innovation Center and CISCO Networking Academy respectively. The College offers "Campus Recruitment Training Programmes in collaboration with Time & Coign Institutions". More than 70% of students are placed in MNC s like L & T Technology Services, Tech Mahindra, IBM, NTT Data, HCL etc. The Department also publishes the Registered Journal "International Journal of Research in Signal Processing, Computing and Communication-System design (IJRSCSD) with an ISSN: 2395-3187.

Head of the Department:
The Department is headed by Mr.N.Raveendra who is having 10+ years of teaching experience. The Dept has dedicated and experienced faculty & non-teaching staff. The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in pace with recent developments in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The teaching faculty is active in research publications, in National/International conferences and Journals.
