Dr. V. K. Mishra is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women (Autonomous), Maisammaguda, Dhulapally, Hyderabad, Telangana. He has 19+ years of experience in teaching.

He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from SOA University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. He completed his M. Tech with the specialization of Computer Science & Engineering from KIIT, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. He has published more than 95 journal papers, 10 patents and 25 Books. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data mining and Machine Learning, Operating System and Deep Learning. He is Life time member of Indian Society for Technology Education (ISTE), Life time member of member of Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers, Life time member of member of Internet Society and Life time member of member of The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communication. He has held different academic positions like Head of the Department, NBA Coordinator, and Examination Branch In charge.

He has been the BOE member of CV Raman University, Bilaspur and he has been the BOE Chairperson of Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU), Bhilai, for last 3 years and heads various committees at institutional level. He had chaired and was keynote speaker in several conferences. He has organised number of national/international conferences, symposiums, workshops, webinars and training programs, Several MOUs have been signed under her leadership on different institutions. He has guided 4 Ph.D. scholars and guiding 06 research scholars in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing, Deep Learning and Wireless Sensor Networks.
